The Wyndham Desert Blue Resort uses green housekeeping practices to reduce their carbon footprint, so short stays do not include full housekeeping services. One-bedroom suites start at 557 square feet, with one king bed and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Rooms start at 470 square feet with a studio layout and one king-sized bed. The Wyndham Desert Blue Resort offers a daily complimentary shuttle service to the Rio. It’s approximately a 15-minute drive from McCarran International Airport. The Wyndham Desert Blue is located off the north end of the Strip on Twain Avenue, almost due west of the Venetian and the Las Vegas Freeway. What we don't like: No on-sight entertainment, only one on-sight restaurant.What we like: Off-Strip but very close, non-smoking, no casino, spacious.
